WR Washington Leaves Practice w/ Hamstring Injury; Davis Waived
The Tennessean reports that WR Nate Washington left practice early with an injury to his hammy:
Titans receiver Nate Washington suffered an injury to his right leg during Monday’s practice and left the field with trainers. Washington was running a route against cornerback DeMarcus Faggins in a 1-on-1 drill when he went down near the end of the play. He immediately grabbed the back of his right leg, indicating it was perhaps a hamstring injury.
The paper also reports they have waived injured WR Chris Davis
The Titans waived injured receiver Chris Davis on Monday. Davis had not practiced or played since suffering a hamstring injury early in training camp. Then he was charged with DUI early Friday in Nashville while the Titans were in Texas preparing for a preseason game against the Cowboys.
