Titans Re-sign LB Boiman, Release QB Mortensen

The Titans made a roster move at the LB spot today:

The team on Tuesday signed linebacker Rocky Boiman, who played for the team from 2002-05. Boiman has also played with the Cowboys, Colts, Eagles and Chiefs during his career.

The Titans have also signed linebacker Tyson Smith.

To make room for those players, the Titans released quarterback Alex Mortensen and cornerback Jeremy Haynes.

The Titans finished Sunday’s preseason contest with just five healthy linebackers as Stephen Tulloch, Colin Allred and Josh Stamer all sat out with injuries.
