Center Harris May Push for Playing Time in 2009

Sporting reports that center Leroy Harris may push for playing time in 2009:

With Titans veteran Kevin Mawae out with an elbow injury, third-year C Leroy Harris has manned the middle in camp all offseason as Mawae continues to recover from January’s surgery. It’s unclear when Mawae will return, but in the meantime Harris continues to get better-and more comfortable working with the first unit. Harris’ emergence might give the coaches a tough decision when Mawae is healthy and if he plays well in preseason, it might be tough for coach Jeff Fisher to pull him out of the lineup.
