LenDale White is a lot less of a man. That’s of course due to the weight loss which he went through this past offseason. The Tennessean did a feature on White in today’s edition:
“Bud Adams came in here today and told me I looked like a brand new person,” White said after Saturday’s training camp practice at Baptist Sports Park. “What that does is make you want to go even harder. This is a new LenDale White and I feel bad for a lot of people.”
White is a lot smaller, but he has big expectations.
He said he weighed in on Friday at 228 pounds, down a pound from the end of June’s organized team activities. He admitted that he weighed 265 pounds at one point last season.
“I won a lot of bets, from friends, family, some people in the locker room,” White said. “I made some people upset because they thought I was going to be fat coming back. It feels good. I am, really excited about this season. It was a long time coming, I finally came into town in shape and I am feeling the difference.”
