As the Tennessean reports today, it appears that there will be a committee approach to replacing Albert Haynesworth this upcoming season, at least to start:
The Titans are a few months into life without All-Pro defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth.
AdvertisementNo longer can they rely on his massive frame to disrupt offensive game plans. Haynesworth has moved on to the Redskins, leaving one of the league’s best defenses last season without its most significant playmaker.
Now it’s a committee approach at the position, with returning veteran Tony Brown, free agent Jovan Haye and second-year pro Jason Jones.
Returning at defensive end are Kyle Vanden Bosch, who seems to be recovered from the groin-related injuries that limited him last season, and Jevon Kearse, who is recovering from offseason knee surgery.
