Posted in The first official fundraiser for my foundation was very successful. We had a good turnout for my bowling event at Splitsville Lanes in Miami, lots of people came into town, we had a tremendous amount of sponsors and many of my teammates came in and we raised a lot of money for kids.
That Saturday we had a football camp with over 250 kids and it was just a great weekend all the way around.
I’m thinking next year we could do it again in Miami and also have one in Nashville.
Some of the guys were pretty good bowlers. Lawrence Timmons brought two balls with him, he thought he was a pro. Patrick Lee of the Packers brought his own ball. Max Jean-Gilles was there from the Eagles and lots of my teammates, Cortland Finnegan, Ahmard Hall and Nick Harper. Also a lot of people who have been with me all my life. It was a great event.
