Details continue to trickle out on the murder/suicide of Steve McNair and mistress Sahel Kazemi. The latest tidbit comes from the Florida Times-Union, which states that McNair and Kazemi had a trip to Las Vegas planned two weeks ago, but McNair stood her up.
Soheyla Kazemi, sister of Steve McNair’s mistress, said she was worried about the age difference between the two but “she never listened to nobody.” Soheyla said she met McNair a month ago when she traveled to Nashville for Sahel’s 20th birthday party. “He was nice,” she said. “He did everything for my daughter.” Soheyla said Sahel had a sad childhood but in recent months “had never been happier.” Two weeks ago, the 20-year-old flew to Las Vegas to meet McNair but McNair never arrived, Soheyla said.
The continued trend is that McNair in different ways seemed to have wanted to pull away from the relationship with Kazemi, and it just seems like the 20-year-old devised a plan to murder McNair, and then herself. More will continue to come out about the last days of McNair’s life.
