My mom was a single parent, she raised me pretty much by herself from the time I was 6.
She worked 3-4 jobs, overnight at times, to provide a good living for me. Lots of times I stayed by myself while my mom was out working. She also reached out to help others, and that rubbed off on me to see how hard she worked and sacrificed so much for her kids and other people too.
Being in the situation I’m in now, it’s a no-brainer to give something back. For kids who have single parents at home and need a little extra help, I know how hard it is for them and their parents to tough it out. I want to be able to raise money for these kids to help them dream big and achieve their goals, whether they want to play football, become a lawyer, doctor, whatever it is they want to achieve.
I just want to help them in any way I can.
That’s why I started the Stephen Tulloch Foundation, to raise money for kids to have after school tutoring, for school supplies, clothes and the essentials they need to achieve whatever it is they want to accomplish.
I’ve accomplished a lot in my life and I always dreamed big. I know dreams can come true if you devote yourself to it 100 percent, but some families need a little help to allow the kids to do that. With my foundation I know I can really help kids do big things.
