Titans Will Still Focus on Looking at the Receiver Position
Today’s Tennessean says that don’t be surprised that even with losing out on the Torry Holt sweepstakes, the Titans are going to take a look at what is out there in trying to get a wide receiver. Here is the report:
The Titans didn’t land veteran receiver Torry Holt, but they still plan to add players at the position, General Manager Mike Reinfeldt said Tuesday. This weekend’s NFL Draft provides an opportunity, but Reinfeldt also said there’s a chance the Titans could make a draft day trade for a veteran receiver. “There is always that potential because there is a number of receivers that will get drafted fairly high that may open up other opportunities,’’ Reinfeldt said. “Someone might draft a receiver high and want to move one of their people. We would consider that option. I think there’s a chance we could still sign a veteran receiver, I would think either during the draft or post-draft, yes. I guess whatever options works out.’’
