Titans Looking to Add to the Secondary

As the Nashville City Paper reports, the Titans are eyeing players that can help out in the defensive backfield in 2009. The team has talked to a couple of players, as stated below:

The Titans had recently hosted Houston Texans free agent cornerback DeMarcus Faggins as well. Tennessee is plenty thin in the secondary behind starting cornerbacks Cortland Finnegan and Nick Harper, with only last year’s seventh-round pick Cary Williams available. Williams spent much of the year on the practice squad and played in just one game before suffering a quadriceps injury that landed him on injured reserve.
