While the Titans officially today lost Albert Haynesworth, they did get back safety Vincent Fuller.
“Vinny is a valuable piece of the puzzle for our secondary,” Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt said. “He has been a solid performer for us at the nickel position and keeping continuity in the secondary group will be beneficial.”
Fuller, a nickel back for the past two seasons, has appeared in 50 career games and registered 93 tackles, a sack and two interceptions in four NFL seasons.
In 2008, he played in all 16 contests and collected a career-high 43 tackles for the Titans second-ranked defense. Fuller was a fourth-round pick of the Titans in 2005.
