Posted in Today’s Nashville City Paper reports that the Titans should consider taking a look at recently released fellow AFC South back Fred Taylor. He was let go Monday by the Jags.
Perhaps the Titans should at least consider Fred Taylor as a complementary back, if he has anything left to give at 33. He has certainly been a worthy adversary over the years, and Chris Johnson and LenDale White might benefit from watching such a true professional’s approach to the game. If not, Taylor should certainly land somewhere for 2009. After all, the Jags offered him the chance to retire, and he politely declined believing the gas gauge isn’t quite on E just yet.
