Cecil Says He’s Ready to Run the Titans Defense

Chuck Cecil is now officially the new defensive coordinator for the Titans, and today’s Nashville City Paper says that he is ready to take over the role and make a big impact:

Chuck Cecil says he is ready to accept the challenge as the Tennessee Titans new defensive coordinator. Cecil, 44, was officially named to the post on Thursday after spending seven years in the organization, including the past two as defensive backs coach. In addition to Cecil, assistant secondary coach Marcus Robertson is promoted into Cecil’s old role, while Tim Hauck, previously at Montana and UCLA, takes over as assistant secondary coach. Cecil replaces Jim Schwartz, who left last month to become head coach of the Detroit Lions.
