There has been a lot of chit-chat already about RB LenDale White and his shape as he starts to get ready for the offseason and his workout program. Here’s an interesting article in today’s Tennessean where White’s uncle says his nephew is in shape and ready to go:
In the locker room after last month’s playoff loss to the Ravens, Titans running back LenDale White vowed to work out this offseason like never before. He’s kept his word, said his uncle and primary trainer, Herman White. In past offseasons, the running back’s weight has ballooned, leading to questions about his workout habits. For now he’s working out in his hometown of Denver, where he’s running hills, trying to get quicker and having a personal chef prepare his meals. Last week he weighed in at 236 pounds, down about 4 pounds from his weight at the end of the season, Herman White said. His nephew plans to be around 230 pounds next month when he reports to Baptist Sports Park for the team’s offseason conditioning program, he said.
