Haynesworth’s Sprained MCL Getting Better
From: ProFootballTalk.com
Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has a sprained MCL, which he suffered during a Week Fifteen loss to the Texans. According to Terry McCormick of the Nashville City Paper, the knee is healing more slowly than Haynesworth would prefer.
“It’s just slow to me,” Haynesworth. “It ain’t quite there. When I’m not out there practicing and playing, I feel like I’m just wasting my time, but I guess that’s just part of football. They haven’t even asked me to run yet, so I don’t know.”
Hayneworth will be consulting with a chiropractor in Atlanta, the same chiropractor who helped Haynesworth recover from a hamstring injury in 2007.
The Titans will host the Ravens, Chargers, or Colts on January 10 in an AFC divisional round playoff game.
“We’ve made strides, but I can’t go 100 percent right now. If the game was tomorrow, I couldn’t play,” Haynesworth said. “[But] I would be surprised if I wasn’t out there [January 10].”
