Pro Bowl defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth plans to be back for the Titans’ first playoff game.
“That’s what I’m hoping for,” he told The Tennesseean. “I’m definitely hoping soon. As long as everything keeps going smoothly, we’ll be good.”
The 6-6, 320-pound Haynesworth, who injured his knee late in last week’s loss to Houston, downplayed concerns about his conditioning after a month layoff.
“You’re not going to get out of shape in two weeks, unless you go blow it out,” he said. “I’m not doing that. I’ll be fine.”
It’s much more difficult to blow it out in Tennessee with Pacman Jones out of the picture.
