Vince Young told reporters Thursday he was never depressed, but was upset about being booed in the Titans’ season-opening win over the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday. Young said he never considered quitting football, and reaffirmed his commitment to the Titans.
Young was sought out by concerned friends and team officials Monday evening after he disappeared from his home with his phone for a few hours. Young is expected to miss at least the next two games with a knee sprain, but says he looks forward to getting back on the field as soon as he can. The Titans play Sunday at Cincinnati. Kickoff is at noon central time.
