Young’s Agent Downplays Titans Concerns

Vince Young’s agent told reporters Tuesday that Young was at a friend’s house Monday night while team officials had police out looking for him. Team officials said they were concerned about Young’s emotional state in the wake of a bad game Sunday against Jacksonville and his knee injury late in the game.

Young met with coach Jeff Fisher and police at team headquarters late Monday night, and reportedly drove himself home after the meeting. Fisher later said the team had heard from people close to Young, who were concerned about his mental state. The Titans won Sunday’s game, 17-10. Backup Kerry Collins is expected to start this week, when the Titans play at Cincinnati. Young is expected to miss at least two games.
