Leftwich

The Titans, possibly looking at adding depth behind starter Vince Young, are bringing in former Jags QB Byron Leftwich for a physical and a workout with the teams recievers.  Reports say that the workout is to see if the team wants to add him to a list of ready players in case something may happen to Young.  “He’s played in the league. He’s been a starter in the league. He’s won a lot of games. We’re bringing him in just to work him out and see where he’s at and even give him a physical and have him throw to some receivers that we’re also trying to determine whether we put on our ready list or not,” Jeff Fisher said.

Right now the team has three QB’s on the roster - Young, Kerry Collins and Ingle Martin.  Leftwich was cut on the final day of cut downs by the Jags last season, and played three games with the Falcons, throwing one TD and two picks with a QB rating of 59.5.

Has any one heard anything about Jevon Kearse blowing his ACL out? I heard this from a guy that supposedly knows a guy on the Titans medical crew. I don’t see anything on either of Nashville’s two newspapers or Titanonline.com. Might be BS but the guy was swearing it was the truth.
