Kearse Signs With Titans

I suppose you could call this a case of “the prodigal son returning home”; defensive end Jevon Kearse on Thursday has agreed to terms with the Tennessee Titans. Kearse was the Defensive Rookie of the Year after the Titans made him the 16th overall pick in the 1999 NFL draft; he recorded 47.5 sacks with Tennessee and made 3 Pro Bowl teams, but left in 2004 to sign a free-agent deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kearse didn’t quite achieve the success with the Eagles that he achieved while with the Titans, totalling only 22 sacks and suffering a knee injury that cost him much of the 2006 season; he was benched toward the end of the 2007 season and was released as a salary cap casualty last week.

Awesome news! He’s finally back with a team and group of fans that will be able to appreciate him. Now that he’s moving back, I’m sure he’s looking for a place to live. I saw his place in Miami, on SET magazine’s SET TV and I would love getting any leads on getting in touch with him, so I can sell his old place and help him find a new own.
