Tight end Bo Scaife has been placed on the IR with a lacerated liver. He was hurt in week 17, and will not need surgery but can’t go against contact for six weeks. He was a big part of the Titans passing game, as he was third on the team in catches with 46 catches for 421 yards and one touchdown. “Bo’s been a big-play guy for us in his own way,” coach Jeff Fisher said. “He’s kind of a leader on offense. He’s out there every day, gets up after most big hits. This one, he did. He came back and played. It’s a difficult situation for Bo. We’ve got people on the roster that are going to have to step up.” The team is hoping that backups Ben Troupe and Ben Hartsock can step up and fill the void that will be left with Scaife being out.
