Young Listed as Day-to-Day with Quad Injury

Young hugs Fisher postgame Sunday

Titans QB Vince Young will be day-to-day this week with a sore quad after hurting it Sunday night in the 16-10 win over the Colts.  Young did not come back into the game, and was replaced by Kerry Collins, who did a solid job in leading the Titans to three field goal drives that in the end won them the game.  “I can’t really say right now if Vince is going to play this week,” Jeff Fisher said Monday. “I have a good feeling he’ll be back on the practice field, and we’ll see how he goes.”  It was the second time this year that Young hurt the quad, he did it the first time against the Bucs back on October 14th.  Fisher ought to think long and hard about keeping Collins, who was 10-for-13 for 106 yards in there as the starter against the Chargers this week.  Collins has played well in place of Young, while Vince has struggled this season, throwing 9 TD’s and 17 picks.  Against the Colts, he was pretty good, throwing 14-for-18 for 157 yards.  His QB rating this season is 71.1.
