Titans Host Jets For AFC Tilt
The Titans will be looking to stay alive in the AFC playoff picture while the Jets will be playing for next year’s draft positioning when the two teams lock up this Sunday at LP Field. Tennessee is 8-and-6 but will be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss. The Titans have won two-of-three after beating the Kansas City Chiefs 26-17 in Week 15. Vince Young threw a pair of touchdown passes in the win. The Jets are tied for the second-worst record in the league at 3-and-11. New York fell to 1-and-6 on the road after losing 20-10 to the New England Patriots last week. Chad Pennington threw for 186 yards in place of starter Kellen Clemens, who was injured on the first play. The Jets won 23-16 when the two clubs met last season at the Meadowlands.
