Titans sign Cain
Posted by Stephen Rhodes on October 30th, 2007 filed in NewsThe Tennessee Titans have for now have found a long snapper to replace Joe Amato. The team announced the signing of fullback-long snapper Jeremy Cain to the roster. They had already signed Cain to the practice squad, signing him last week. Cain was in training camp with the Philadelphia Eagles; he had previously spent two seasons with the Chicago Bears, playing in 8 games as a linebacker and recording 8 tackles. The Titans lost Amato to a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the team’s 13-9 over the Oakland Raiders last Sunday, hastening the signing of Cain.
