Long Snapper Amato Done for the Year

The Titans have lost long snapper Ken Amato for the season after he tore his right anterior cruciate ligament covering a punt in the win over the Raiders Sunday.
The team may have to go to the free agent pool for a long snapper, as center Kevin Mawae snapped on the Titans’ last punt. Head coach Jeff Fisher said middle linebacker Ryan Fowler and linebacker LeVar Woods can also long snap.
Amato, a five-year veteran, has been with the Titans since 2003. He’s also played on kickoff and kickoff return teams and been a reserve linebacker.
