Young Day-to-Day After Suffering Quad Strain

Titans QB Vince Young is day-to-day according to head coach Jeff Fisher after straining his right quad in the Titans 13-10 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday in Tampa Bay.  “He could not practice today,” Fisher said. “If we had practice today, he’d be sore. But it’s not as bad as we thought. So he’ll be day to day, and our treatment path will be to try to get him back on the practice field as fast as we can.”  Young left the game about halfway through the third quarter after a run to the sideline.  He appeared to pull up as he ran out of bounds, and didn’t return to the game in which the Titans eventually lost.

As far as making moves to possibly bring in a QB in case Young’s injury continues to keep him out, the team stated that they are looking at making personal moves that may allow them to bring a QB in.  One QB that they would take a look at is Ingle Martin, who was drafted by the Packers in the 5th round in 2006, and is on the teams practice squad.  He is a Nashville native.

At least Texans fans know he won’t be running a gamewinner on us at the end of the 4th Q…better not…
