Pacman Trial Delayed Until March

Suspended Titans cornerback and return specialist Adam “Pacman” Jones will not go to trial in Georgia unitl March, according to Nashville’s “Tennessean.”  But the newspaper also reports negotiations on a plea deal are underway, and a plea could be entered before then.  The Georgia case stems from a February, 2006 incident in which police say Jones threw a punch at an officer during an argument outside his girlfriend’s home.  Jones is also scheduled for a preliminary hearing late this month on felony coercion charges in connection with a February 19th brawl outside a Las Vegas strip club.
