Final Cuts Made by Titans Before Opener

The Titans made their finals cuts Saturday to get their roster to 53.  Wide receiver Courtney Roby and free safety Lamont Thompson were among those cut. The Titans also let quarterback Tim Rattay go, meaning the team will go with just Vince Young and backup Kerry Collins. Other Titans let go were cornerback Ryan Smith (a sixth-round draft pick), wide receiver Joel Filani (also a sixth-rounder), tackle Mike Otto (seventh-round), tight ends Cooper Wallace and Jamie Petrowski, running backs Dontrell Moore and Quinton Ganther, defensive ends Josh Savage and Jason Hall, linebacker Terna Nande, guard Isaac Snell and veteran tackle Seth Wand.
