Rice May Still Be in the Titans Plans

Simeon Rice, who once put fear in the heart’s of QB’s around the league while with Tampa Bay, remains a man without a team after the Bucs released him last month.  The Titans remain interested in Rice, and in a recent report in The Tennessean, GM Mike Reinfeldt admitted to a recent talk with Rice’s agent stating that the team is “still in the process of evaluating him”  Rice’s stock must not be all that high, as he has already spoken to the Titans, Giants and Rams, and has not gotten a formal contract offer from any of the three.  The Titans may also have their sights set elsewhere, as rumors have them watching Bears DE Alex Brown, and another player who soon will be on the chopping block, the Broncos DE Gerard Warren.  Reinfeldt said that as long as those players are under contract, he cannot comment on them.
