7th Round Pick Otto and Titans Come to Terms

OttoThe Titans and seventh-round draft pick Mike Otto have agreed to a contract. Terms were not announced. Otto was the last pick for the Titans, and the 223rd pick overall.  He played his college ball at Purdue, and was a mainstay on the OL for four seasons as he set a school record with 51 career starts, all at left tackle. The 36 starts is the most by a current Purdue offensive player.  Below is a tidbit on Otto from NFLDraftScout:
“2007 Second-day Draft Steals: Otto never received more than Second Team accolades in the Big Ten while playing in the shadow of Wisconsin’s Joe Thomas and Penn State’s Levi Brown. Otto plays with surprising foot quickness and balance and uses his hands well. He’ll need to continue to add strength, but reminds me a great deal of former Boilermaker Matt Light, who has served as Tom Brady’s blindside protector in three Super Bowls.”
To date the Titans have completed deals with seven of their 10 draft choices.
