Jones Says He Will Fight Charges Against Him

Embattled NFL star Adam “Pacman” Jones will fight felony charges against him in Nevada.  NFL.com reports his lawyers Manny Arora and Robert Langford say the Tennessee Titans cornerback will surrender to authorities either Friday or Monday in Las Vegas.  The charges stem from an incident outside the “Minxx” strip club in February.  Prosecutors allege Jones was part of a group of three men who threatened the lives of employees in the club and later fired five or six shots toward the front of the club.  A bouncer at the club was left paralyzed by one of the shots.

NFL commissioner Robert Goodell has suspended Jones for the upcoming season.  Since he was drafted in 2005, Jones has been arrested five times and been involved in at least 11 police investigations, although he has not been convicted of any crimes.  Authorities in Georgia are also looking to question him regarding a shooting at a strip club there in the early morning hours of June 18th.
