The Titans would like an answer from free agent running back Chris Brown by Tuesday according to the Tennessean newspaper GM Mike Reinfeldt told the paper “It would behoove both sides to have it done before then.”  Brown is trying to decide if he should come back to the Titans, a team he had success with in 04 and 05, or move to his hometown of Chicago, where he would play for the Bears and be the backup to starter Cedric Benson.

Browns agent, Wynn Silberman, said that the choices are down to Tennesse and Chicago. “It’s interesting,” Silberman said Thursday to the paper. “We just don’t know what the best situation is at this point. Both teams are stating their cases.”  Brown started in 25 or 26 games in 04 and 05.  He had six 100-yard games and his first 1,000-yard season in his second year. “I think this is the best place for him,” Reinfeldt said. “Hopefully he will see it that way, too.”
